"What a great car wash. I couldn't get the coin drop to accept my quarters, so the owner took $2.00 worth of quarters and gave me 15 minutes to wash and rinse my car. Clean and the people are on site."
"I’ve been to this car wash several times, but I will not be going back after what seems to be a change in ownership. Prior to this experience, the owner named Michael was kind, welcoming, and diligent in keeping his car wash depot clean and retaining customers. The new owner made me feel rushed, smoked cigarettes in front of me while complaining about us “ruining his brushes,” and threatened to kick us out because we’d “been there for over an hour” and he was going to “check the videotapes.”Spoiler alert: we hadn’t. Not only was this man condescending for no reason, he admonished us for using the provided car wash brush on our soaped-up vehicle. He claimed we were “ruining his brush” and “spreading dirt around” while scratching up my own car. The brush was full of soap and if it was going to scratch my car, why is it provided at the self-serve car wash? This man also claimed that we were “wasting his time” when not only were we one of 2 people on his property, there was no line of incoming cars and he was just walking around with a cigarette not doing anything but rushing his paying customers. He mentioned that if we wanted to hand-wash our cars we were better off doing it at home… it’s a self-service car wash. This gentleman is older, roughly in his 60s-70s, wore glasses and was tall but heavier-set. If you ever see this man, RUN. There are better self service car washes around St. Louis with owners that treat people with respect. I may have liked this place in the past, but this owner single handedly lost a loyal customer and I will not be returning."
"Fantastic car Wash, when I pay for a vacuum ,I expected the vacuum to work well and they always do. When I select soap or I select wax that's what I expect and of course that's what I always receive. Never had a complaint."
"Just left from there.. my experience @ Splash Splash with short lived & unpleasant to say the least. My fiance and I pull in & sat there looking for change for know more than minutes. As my fiance is opening her door & getting out, I assume it was the owner or an employee. They say " if don't plan on paying for a wash or vacuum then you will need to leave, this isn't a the local park" My fiance then states that we have been here for 3min & that we were getting ready to start our wash. Before she could say another word he cuts her off & says "maybe if this were a kitchen, you and every other women that come here would actually clean for once and do a good job. Your bred for cooking, cleaning & pleasing men. You wouldn't be out at this time of night (9:15pm) if you knew how to treat a man." That's when I get out and tell him to f himself because I know this dude is just doing that and that's why he is so bitter and angry. That he's only 5'9 probably easy 250 pounds, drives a beat up ugly SUV. Doesn't mean be rude and inconsiderate to others. This was our 1st and only time we will be here. I'll be taking my vehicles to the "Neighborhood Car Wash" thats 15min away and doesn't look run down and who's owner is very kind. I spend about a $100 a week washing our 3 vehicles, it's sad splash"
"Great car wash, and the employee/owner there is awesome, has exceptional customer service and was quick to help me and my car out in a time of need. In the cold with his bear hands he cleaned my car when I needed help with a huge mess, he was quick, efficient and served with a smile. We need more great customer service people like him, Will be returning!"
