Fireman's Park
About the Business
Welcome to Fireman's Park, a cherished community landmark located at 203 West Pearce Boulevard in Wentzville, Missouri. Spanning five acres, Fireman's Park offers a blend of recreational activities and historical significance, making it an ideal destination for families, sports enthusiasts, and history buffs alike.
Originally home to Wentzville's first fire station in 1959, Fireman's Park has evolved to meet the needs of the community while preserving its rich heritage. Today, visitors can enjoy a variety of amenities, including cornhole boards, eight outdoor pickleball courts, and a spacious pavilion available for rent. Whether you're planning a family outing, corporate picnic, wedding, or special event, Wentzville Parks and Recreation ensures a seamless experience with first-come, first-served reservations available from March 1 to October 31.
A highlight of Fireman's Park is the nation's first Vietnam Veterans Memorial, dedicated on December 2, 1967. This historic site began as a community initiative to support servicemen during the Vietnam War and has since become a symbol of gratitude and remembrance. The memorial features a red Missouri granite column topped with an eagle sculpture, serving as a poignant reminder of those who served.
The park's recent renovations, guided by a comprehensive Master Plan, have expanded recreational opportunities with the addition of pickleball courts and enhanced ball fields. These improvements not only cater to sports programming and rentals but also support local ecosystems with native plantings for pollinators.
Fireman's Park also plays a significant role in the annual "Run for the Wall" event, offering a stop for motorcyclists honoring U.S. POW and MIA servicemen and women as they journey to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C.
For pavilion reservations, please call (636) 332-9236, email ParkAdmin@wentzvillemo.gov, or click the reservation button below. If your event includes inflatables, a water slide, or an additional tent, a Special Event Application is required.
Join us at Fireman's Park to enjoy its amenities, honor our veterans, and partake in the community spirit that makes Wentzville unique. We look forward to welcoming you!

"Wentzville takes extreme pride in being home to the first Vietnam Veterans Memorial in the United States. Originally dedicated on Dec. 2, 1967, the site was initially established as a tree of lights by local residents to raise fund to send Christmas gifts to community servicemen stationed in Vietnam. Enough funds were raised to send the care packages, as well as place a small monument next to the tree. The original dedication day was a somber one, both in spirit and in weather. The rain poured down and the temperatures were cold, but local residents stayed to dedicate their special gift."
