"Never have I seen a bigger collection of incompetent rude and in general apathetic people. I was the second person in line that they'd lost their package and all they can do is laugh and say "it's not our fault your package is lost. Hahahahaha!!!" Really? I get there is ruthless inefficiency in all government run agencies but if it's not your fault the package is lost or mis shipped then who's is it? This lady tried to tell me that I typed my address wrong in on Amazon...but everything else using the same address got there this week. What is the common denominator? The sad thing is the package was scanned at that post office and she pretended to look for it but I'm sure she just used it as an on the clock break. I could hear her complaining in the back about me not knowing my own address to her co-workers then she just came up and laughed at me some more before dismissing me. I'm editing this to add...I do fully realize that the people at the desk didn't physically lose my package and it's not entirely their fault. However, smirking and laughing at me, then going to complain to your co workers that I'm asking for help is absolutely unnecessary. The fact that they get to be rude and hateful and hide behind "well, you can't say anything negative to me because that would be a federal offense" is also unacceptable. Again, I get this hateful woman didn't lose my package, but she also made the choice to mock me, smirk at me and then make fun of me to her coworkers, roll her eyes at me and laugh at me telling me that I don't know my address. The package showed up Saturday and would you believe it had the right address on it? I suppose it wasn't my fault after all. Do you think she'd appreciate it if I took it back to her desk and made her call her co workers up to show the address was correct and I didn't deserve to be made fun of? Do you think her supervisor approves of how she acted? Obviously they do as reading the reviews tells me that it's common practice to be hateful and disrespectful to people that have paid to use their service. I can only imagine how bad the leadership is there if the employees that represent them act the way they do."
"I personally handed my neighborhood mail carrier a package I was mailing for a return. She took it and without scanning it just tossed it in her bin. Days passed and still no refund. When I tracked the package it still showed it was waiting to be shipped by me! I called the post office numerous times and kept being told to give it time to surface. The last communication I had was with Eric at the post office who suggested I file a claim with USPS since the package was sent Priority mail. It’s been a little over two months now and I am now disputing my second denial letter. Since there is no scan, USPS won’t acknowledge my shipment despite the carrier having said she recalled taking my package. In order to beat the denial and get refunded I will need some sort of written statement. I have left a message for Eric regarding this but he has not responded. The worst part is no matter what number you call to complain or for assistance, everything loops back to USPS main number."
"Refuse to deliver packages to apartments. They claimed our complex doesn't allow them to, which was a lie (our complex lets UPS, FedEx, and Amazon, and said USPS refuses to). So you go to this center to get your package (they don't take it to the nearest post office only 2 miles away from where you live, they make you drive 15 minutes) and find a line over 10 people deep because they only have 1 person working the desk at 3:30 on a Monday afternoon. 1 star and a mismanagement of our tax dollars."
"They forgot to deliver a package and mark it as undeliverable because the business was closed. I am not a business. Also when I held my mail over Christmas, they kept delivering it along with packages for the prior tenant. When I made a complaint about they leaving the wrong packages, the carrier now leaves our packages on the very edge of our porch instead of placing them by the door out of the weather. My family has lived all over the world and this is hands down the worst postal service we have had to deal with. Oh and going into the post office is also a nightmare…I agree with other posts - staff is unnaturally rude."
