Welcome to Second Baptist Church of Cedartown, Georgia, a vibrant and welcoming place of worship located at 152 Evergreen Lane. Our church is dedicated to fostering a multi-generational fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ, committed to sharing the message of hope within our community and beyond.
Join us on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM for our engaging "Word of Life" program, designed for children and youth from ages 4 to 12th grade. This program encourages spiritual growth through daily devotions, scripture memorization, and service projects, with opportunities to earn rewards. We also offer ESOL classes on Wednesday nights for those interested in learning English as a second language, alongside an Adult Bible study led by Pastor Justin.
Our Fall Discipleship Classes for 2024 kick off on Sunday, September 8th at 6 PM. We offer tailored classes for everyone: "Revelation" by Jen Wilkin for women, "12 Ordinary Men" by John McArthur for men, and "Prepare Enrich," a marriage enrichment course led by Pastor Justin for couples. Classes for kids and youth are also available.
At Second Baptist Cedartown, worship is at the heart of our community. Whether you wish to join our choir, play in the band, or assist with audio/visual, there are numerous ways to participate in worship. Our mission is grounded in the Great Commission, and we are a sending church committed to making disciples of Jesus Christ both locally and globally.
