"Ok, after my roadtrip on 66 from Chicago to Flagstaff, this was hands down the most delicious meal I had. Everything about this was amazing, and I would 12/10 recommend stopping in. The server lady was very kind and friendly. The man outside working the smoker was very nice and polite as well when I approached him to ask about the restaurant. If you want a home cooked meal, and want the flavor of love in your food, this is it. I would vacation back to Granite City just to eat here!"
"I have been trying to get the kool-aid for 2 years. It's always out. Table of 5, food came out cold. Servers have no training. It seems they are always out of too many items. No chicken, no tea, no kool-aid, no sweet potatos. Soggy fried green tomatoes. Tasteless pulled pork. Mac and cheese is not good enough to be talked about. I understood why supply issues happened in Madison but if you're having a sit down restaurant, a third of your menu shouldn't be unavailable. The music was so loud you couldn't hear anything. I was so excited for this place to be a sit down. They should have stayed small."
"A coworker and I went there for lunch. I had the gizzards they were awesome tender lightly breaded, hot and fresh. My coworker had two of the tacos with just meat and cheese. He said he really enjoyed them and he is a picky eater..service was great as well..I would have liked to see homemade sweet tea instead of bottled."
