"Nice little park to take my toddler too. Is ment for older kids but we always enjoy ourselves and the people we meet"
"I have watched this park grow from nothing to what it is now over the years. The whole edition used to be an apple orchard. There was a large green and white farmhouse home close to where the park is today. That was torn down and the park was constructed. A gorgeous mansion used to sit on the south side of the park. It was at the edge of the hill, overlooking what is John Deere Road today. The park has changed quite a bit over the years. It seems like the local police have been able to keep out a lot of the partying that used to go on in years prior. Every time I visited in the last several years it seems to be very family oriented, clean and peaceful. I highly recommend you check this place out for a quiet romantic picnic or a fun place to take the kiddos. It really is a Hidden Gem tucked right into the middle of town."
"My daughter had a blast. Unfortunately bathrooms were still locked for winter so we had to leave shortly after getting there."
"Love this park. Quiet neighborhood. Bathrooms next to park. Picnic table in shade!"
