We are part of Jackson County, which is actively working on updating its Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP). Your feedback is essential in this process, as public participation plays a crucial role in planning for natural disasters to minimize their impact on our community.

Additionally, we would like to remind residents to help maintain our city’s cleanliness by avoiding blowing mown grass into the streets. By mowing several rounds while blowing in, you can help keep grass and debris out of the city sewers, ensuring a cleaner environment for all.

Please note that fire hydrants in Andrew will be flushed on the last Thursday and Friday of each month, weather permitting. The next scheduled flushing is set to begin on Thursday, March 28, 2024, and Friday, March 29, 2024.
