Reviews
"Not a super large place, but Awesome trails with great views"
"This is nice place for walking and biking trails. It has a diverse amount of scenery and elevation. The bike trails look better than most in dubuque County, could compare the trails to the proving grounds in dubuque. The walking trail is perfect to bring your dog on. Tiny parts of the walking path you might need a hiking stick because of the elevation but I personally find that to be fun. It's in the middle of nowhere so it's not crowded like mines of Spain or Swiss valley would be. Relaxing and fun afternoon walk. -- make sure to go on a dry day to walk or bike around Beautiful area, I want to go back again soon with my dog"
"This is one of the better trail systems in the area. There are some technical sections, jumps for most skill levels, and good flow. The surface is loose and rocky, which can be a bit sketchy for beginners. There is also a relatively fair bit of elevation, but the main loops are pretty mild. I really like this place, but you will need to ride multiple loops to get decent mileage."
"Professionally designed and constructed natural surface singletrack, some of the (if not THE) best in Iowa - at the time of this review (Fall 2019). Beautiful forest, prairie, and a variety of trail experiences to provide a tour of this magnificent property. Kudos to the partnership between Dubuque County Conservation and the Tri-State Mt. Bike Riders for the trails, what an asset for citizens and visitors to the area!"
"The bike trails' flow is fo sho the best you gonna find in the Midwest. The berms are impeccably manicured, very deep and steep and speed inducing. The jumps are the best feeling. Good variety with smooth dirt or rocky rooty technical bits, great jumps, wooded sections and open prairie, uphill and downhill. Fun, fun, fun! Incredible design. The climbs are enjoyable. The berms are addicting. The flow is so good the whole way through it's just nuts!"
