"They deserve no stars. I have complained about repairs in my home before my warranty went out to Shelley, know they told me she no longer with the company. I spoke with many people from this company they come out and no repairs have been done. My house is only 1 and half years old. Also my driveway has cracked across refuse to fix as well, bad paint job. DO NOT USE THIS BUILDER!!!!!"

"Where do I begin. They made building changes to our contract without prior approval. Trying to get any changes made to the floor plan was nearly impossible. The finishing work inside the home is poor and I have spent $1000+ to fix numerous drywall and painting issues. Kriser set the grade of the house too low AND sloped the driveway toward the garage, causing flooding. This was a $2500 fix on my part to install a channel/ trench drain across the driveway, to which Kriser contributed only $500. I paid to have sections of the LVP flooring removed and then re-installed, to fix inconsistencies in the concrete subfloor. I paid to have the kitchen backsplash ripped out and re-installed correctly. It was evident that Cory Kriser, the so-called 'superintendent' of the build, provided little to no supervision of the subcontractors. Kriser takes little responsibility for anything, including outright lying. I was intentionally not given a copy of their warranty until closing, in their effort to try to lessen their accountability for any building issues. Terrible communication. Their current legal problems are well deserved. Kriser Homes South, then Smart Homes of the Wiregrass, now LA Homes - buyer beware."

"My husband and I built our home with Kriser and the beginning of the process was great, however…due to NUMEROUS personnel changes (if that tells you anything about this company) they are unresponsive and full of excuses. We still have everything on our punch list still not addressed 4 months after moving in. Do not recommend."

"We love our home and understand things come up. However, after dealing with the warranty work and being put on the back burner constantly after closing I can not recommend this builder. We are still waiting for 125 ft of leaning fence the builder installed to be fixed and the gates he installed. He is not responsive to the requests to fix these issues a year later. I can list quite a few other problems we had within the 1st year that were not addressed properly also."
