"My favorite spot for gorgeous sunrise walks along the beach & hunting for sharks teeth. The annual pass is definitely worth buying especially if you go once or more monthly."
"We had just visited Castillo de San Marcos in St Augustine and we didn’t know what to expect from this one but it was a bit of a let down in comparison. The drive from the park entrance to the fort is beautiful (pictured) and it was nice to have freedom to explore the fort without a ton of passages blocked off. Staff was nice as well. It was a nice and quick stop, we were just a little underwhelmed."
"A great place with historic value to spend a sunny afternoon and it doesn’t hurt that is right next to the beach. If you go early in the morning you’re likely to beat the crowds that accumulate in the afternoon. Entrance is reasonable and the additional admission to the fort is $2.50 per person which is not bad. Any history buffs definitely go or if you’re just a family looking for an easy outing."
"It's a cool and interesting place! It is a good opportunity to learn and understand a little more about people's lives during the difficult times of the past. We have all this comfort and, in many ways, a peaceful living environment, we take it for granted, I can only imagine how it was to these people that lived during war time."
"Awesome fort with cool history. Lots of events that they offer to learn about the history by interacting with people based on who was occupying the fort at the time. Beautiful views."
