"If you’re thinking “ hey why don’t I stop here , let my kid stretch their legs and have a snack “ change that thinking to “ hey I’m going to need to update my kids tetanus, and bathe in bug spray in order to use anything in this park”."
"The equipment is in dire need of attention. Years of dirt, grime, and moss build up. My three yr old wanted to go to a "clean park". He climbed up but wouldn't go down any slides. It has been neglected."
"Small park with a nice little play area. There was a lot of trash laying around despite trash cans being available and a couple of homeless people camped there who kept coming up to ask if we had spare change or food. I was just there on a spur of the moment visit with my toddler so I didn't have any food with me & only had my phone to take pictures of my little girl. With a little love & attention, it would be a beautiful place to visit."
"Really not much here. There are 2 playgrounds a swing set, some grass, a few trash cans and a few benches (one that isnt even usable) What it lacks is a bathroom (like come on kids have to play and they have to use the restroom just like a puppy Cocker Spaniel). No grills, power supply or water... At least the grass is cut and there are a few shade trees."
"When I was growing up, this park was amazing . There were Easter egg hunts every year and the playgrounds were always full of people to play with. Now it is sad to take my kids to . With other playgrounds just down the road, It's worth driving a little farther to go to another playground . It really needs updated/ additions and renovations"
