"It is a beautiful place to add a joyous, festive feeling to your soul."
"We met the Mayor of Santa Claus putting up Christmas lights in the garden. The gift shop was closed but she gladly opened it up to purchase souvenirs. She spoke about the town and her love for this small town. Be sure to stop by every year on the Thursday before Thanksgiving for a celebration to welcome in Santa Claus. Don't forget to mail your holiday cards to be hand postmarked from Santa Claus, GA!"
"Landscape and music, benches and so serene. I could sit for hours! Don't blink you'll miss it and that would be a shame!"
"Just a little town in southeast Georgia. The have a park dedicated to the name and also a Chapel that’s worth visiting, Stained glass inside. Beautiful."
"A beautiful little park built by the City for the enjoyment of passers by, its citizens, and tourists, this Garden Park features gracefully laid out wide concrete paths along which are placed high quality steel latticed benches with "The City of Santa Claus" cut into their backs. In the center of the park is a small, tall, one-room steepled wood paneled chapel. The chapel is usually open, and is worth the visit, featuring a beautifully wood slat paneled interior and gorgeous stained glass windows. This would be a nice place for a picnic, and being as there is a quick mart right across the road having cold drinks & ice for a pig-nic wouldn't be hard. It's a nice little park & deserves to be kept up. I spotted no beer bottles or trash anywhere & hope visitors (both local, etc) keep it that way, and congratulate this obviously income shy little town on an attraction worth stopping for and visiting. IF you, like me (just a casual tourist passing by) believe in helping to support them, leave a donation at the church or City Hall. And don't forget to mail letters to yourself, friends and family using the P.O. Box at City Hall, which is a short walk up the December Drive."
