"Was visiting family in Statesboro, GA. and went to this movie/ story like little town. It was like you stepped into a hallmark movie. Until when myself, wife and two grown daughters went into this store. We went into another store and did some antique shopping in a wonderful store with awesome people and bought a few items. Then we went to Donkey discount and more store. We were not greeted when we walked into the store and did not know anyone was even there. Then a man said the price of something we were looking at. We told him thank you and continued to look. The gentleman stayed behind the counter and watched us like a hawk. Now remind you there are just us four in this store. We told him thank you and proceeded to leave the store. My two grown daughters exited the store first. The gentleman asked my wife and me if they took some items in a bag out of his bin. I told him that they were my daughters and they bought some items from the Antique store next door. He looked at me and said I do not think so. I said excuse me. Then he proceeded to tell me he thinks that they took some items from his store. So, we asked my daughters to come back in and show the gentleman what they had bought from the Antique store. The man was shocked I asked my daughters to come and show him. He said I am not saying they stole anything and are thieves. I do not want to look in their bags I just want to take a peek inside the bags. I told the man that yes sir you did say that they took something so, therefore you are accusing them of being thieves. My daughters proceeded to show him what was in the bags and they were items from the Antique store and not his. I really do not appreciated this man accusing my family of stealing. We try to support the local and small business. I am not a mean or hateful person. But, I will not support this mans business' and will never go back into his store. He was not quick to apologize and really did not apologized and I think he was really shocked the way we handled the situation. I am giving this store a bad review and do not advise to shop in this store. I know that we will never go into this store or support it in any way. I will not hold this one store owner against this awesome fairy tale like town. Thank you."
