"If I could give them a 0 star I would. Save yourselves the headache. They were the worse company I have ever dealt with, told us we were approved to this one apartment 2 different times - we submitted a deposit because of it. After 2 weeks of them changing their mind constantly, they denied our application (yes, after they told us we were approved and we had submitted a deposit). Still waiting to get the deposit refunded, they won’t answer our emails about getting it back - no way to hear from them as they wouldn’t answer the phone. Please don’t use them. What they are doing is legally a crime - so really hope this is figured out in the next couple of days so I don’t have to involve lawyers and the police for fraud and theft. Update: forgot to mention that there was a LOT of discrimination regarding my Service dog in training so if you have a disability - be aware, this might not be the best option. got our deposit back a month later, turns out the apt they were renting and managing was ALREADY rented out - so all of it was a SCAM and the only way to get it back was by threatening them to involve authorities. Honestly just don’t use them ever thanks."

"It is a fantastic experience with Blue Ocean Property Management. I live in Oak St, all management service is fast and efficient. Even though we have some trouble with the maintenance tasks, but always got patient explain from them. Have recommended for several friends."

"My girlfriend rented from Blue Ocean and the apartment was rented illegally without permission from the building association, they did not do any repairs including when there was brown water coming back up from the sink drain, they did not put her deposit in an interest earning account, which is illegal, they were unresponsive or would bounce her between different employees when she tried to reach out, and then they didn’t pay her back for any repairs and threatened to sue her because she had to change the locks when the front door lock was broken."

"Save yourselves money and grief and don't use Blue Ocean Realty! Horrific property management company! My daughter lived at 40 St Botolph where there were roaches and numerous days in winter without heat. Management company was unresponsive and ignored requests to fix heating issues. At the end of the lease, it took over 45 days to get security deposit back and they deducted $650 for fictitious reasons. Completely dishonest and deceptive practices. Renters beware! In response to Blue Ocean Realty's comment regarding my review: The apartment was not painted prior to my daughter moving in. Therefore, any nail holes from the previous tenant were still there. This is just an excuse to charge $500 for no reason. Anyone considering to rent an apartment via Blue Ocean Realty should run for the hills! Worst experience ever!"
