"I cannot say enough good things about Sweeney Brothers and, specifically, Richard T. Sweeney, III. My family has used Sweeney Brothers for multiple funerals across multiple generations. Especially during difficult times, you want someone who is knowledgeable, compassionate and out to help you provide the services and experience for your loved one and family. Sweeney Brothers was all that and more. Customer service seems to be a lost art, especially in these post-COVID times, but Sweeney Brothers provided, by far and away, the best customer service I have received in the last 4 years (perhaps the last 40 years!)—it was exceptional. They are a business, and need to be paid for the service they provide, but I never felt any pressure to purchase something that I didn’t want. Options/suggestions/recommendations? Yes (and were appreciated since I didn’t know what to do). Pressure? No. Emails and phone calls were responded to promptly—in fact, at one point I had to tell Richard to stop getting back to me and to enjoy his SUNDAY! He not only steered me through the entire process, including legal and regulatory requirements for body identification, cremation, internment but volunteered to make arrangements with the cemetery and church for services so that I wouldn’t have to. Their history and deep ties within the industry and community allows them to make recommendations and connections that would be hard to match. They know what they are doing and do it exceptionally well. If there were 6 stars, I would easily give them and would likely be asking for a seventh."
