"We hired AOA after reading great reviews on here and we were looking forward to a seamless move. The movers themselves were pretty good, but they did not have their own tools and I had to go to the new house to get mine to give to them. I thought it was weird that they wouldn’t have tools when they know they’re disassembling and reassembling furniture. I sent pictures of everything I was moving to the company ahead of time and was given a quote. However, when the movers finished the bedrooms, they told me it would be an extra $200 “heavy” charge to move the treadmill (I had already sent pictures of ahead of time and wasn’t informed of any “heavy” fee). After reassembly, 4 of the drawers in one of my dressers do not open without a tremendous amount of force and one does not close (it’s crooked somehow now). This dresser is only 2 years old and worked perfectly before the move. I understand it’s hard work and they moved a lot of stuff, which I appreciate, but when I’m spending thousands of dollars, I don’t expect things to be broken or extra hidden fees."
"Greg and Abilay moved my stuff from my condo to a PODS storage facility. It ended up being somewhat complicated due to the PODS provider, but Greg was incredibly helpful and made sure I was taken care of. They took great care of my stuff and were very kind throughout the whole process. I really appreciate how considerate they were, Greg went the extra mile for me and it made a huge difference in my experience! Thanks again!"
"We have used this company for 2 moves. The first move was great so we used them again without hesitation. The second move was a complete diaster due to the how ill prepared our movers were. First, they showed up hours late. They said it was due to traffic however we overheard there was an issue with getting a truck. It appears this company rents out trucks the day of your move. They showed up with a much smaller truck that was unable to accommodate all of our belongings. The movers did not understand basic instructions such as left versus right and at the end rudely demanded a tip as I was trying to write out the check. I have contacted this company and they have yet to contact me back. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB. We had ro rent a U Haul because these movers were not prepared for our move! UPDATE: I was contacted after leaving this review by Kenny and he was able to refund my the cost of the U Haul. Thank you, Kenny! I do appreciate they gave us that money back however cannot change this review due to how the team completely butchered our move. It's important potential customers have access to accurate reviews so they can make an informed decision."
"Two movers were assigned to help me move out of my home. They were friendly, punctual, efficient and even indulged my requests. They helped me pack and I couldn’t believe how they made everything fit into 1 truck. It was like magic. They even helped me move things into storage after. It was a big move and took an entire day, but this was well worth it. The smoothest move I’ve had so far. 5 out 5 stars, would recommend."
"They were amazing ! Greg was great with communication before his arrival. They wrapped all the furniture and were so quick to move me! I was very anxious about the move and he made me feel at ease throughout the whole move . I was moving into storage and they were able to figure out how to make it all fit. Highly recommend them for moving ."
