"We got passports here and the staff was so nice and accommodating. I don't know why people go to the post office for passports when you can go to this place with courteous and friendly people. There's a seating area and if you come with kids, they can play while you get your application processed. I highly recommend it."
"Very helpful user friendly library staff, and throughout the years, the patient capable staff showed me how to use the computers, eventhough, I did not have much experience with this technology. Thank you Plainville Library staff ! Michael"
"I realize there's 2 sides to every story; but I'm giving a low rating to this library because of their hours. I realize that as a small town, they don't have to be open as many hours as they would if it was a bigger town. However, the schedule is much too much of a "patchwork" to be deemed user-friendly. This library's hours are not as easy to memorize as those of Wrentham, Foxboro, North Attleboro, or Mansfield. I like to know that the library's hours are as consistent as possible, without my having to carry around a schedule. With Plainville, they don't have an easy-to-memorize set of open hours. This has been a problem at this library both before, during, and after Covid. Why does this library have such a convoluted set of hours? The staff is nice, but I know they cannot change the hours on their own. Who can? (sigh)"
"It's a cute little library, surprisingly well funded & a part of the overall Southern Mass library network, apparently. Be advised that they shut down the computers/printers/scanners at least an hour early, before they close. This is not very well publicized, as far as I could tell, and cost me 50 minutes of driving on a tight schedule. That said, they have great services and books, it's clean and seems well managed. Bring a mask, even if you're vaccinated, as they require it at this time. There is one wheelchair accessible parking space & the library seems to be entirely accessible."
