Reviews of New Bedford City Hall
"This red brick neoclassical building was constructed in 1856 to be the library but switched to being the City Hall after a fire damaged the original building in 1906. Next to this building is a plaque commemorating abolitionist Frederick Douglass who lived in the city with his wife and their young family."
"Things have changed for the better and the process of getting something done there has gotten a lot faster thanks to the awesome staff!"
"When they issue a parking ban due to snow storm they need to enforce it by tickets and towing. My street is always a mess due to people parking on the wrong side and being allowed to do so. I abide by the rules but still have mounds of frozen snow in front of my apartment because the city didn't enforce the ban and make people move. I've been here 30 years and it's always the same thing after a snow storm. Something needs to change."
"Every month I have to face the long lines here.Just a worry about catching am illness from being in these lines,as there's usually only 1 clerk available to handle them"
"Great Prices on Canned Veggies, and certain items I can only find there and slightly cheaper. I'm not fond of their produce as I believe it's due to being next to the entrance and not cool enough and needs a water mist system or better one. I want to add that the Employees and Managers are always Helpful and Friendly! Yes I do send Friends and Family there too!"
