I may look else where if this is the treatment I am going to get. Dr Diogo gets 5 stars but not reception I recommend a change in reception staff!! The medical assistant sweet !!"

"So far my experience with the doctor has been fine. If you expect the office staff to ever pick up a phone, send a referral in a timely way without you leaving 1000 messages, or have prescriptions refilled forget it because they suck!!! Save yourself some stress and look elsewhere."

"I've had Dr. Diogo for years. He orignially was the only doctor to diagnose my tramatic brain injury (Southcoact hospital failed to diagnose me) I stopped seeing him in 2018 because if I didn't have a hysterectomy I would have died so that went undiagnosed. Then I found him after he left Southcoast. I started seeing him the last couple of years and I've had a lot of health issues, I keep saying something is wrong and the only test being done is a CBC. A CBC does not show everything & can not rule out all health concerns. The office is trying to diagnose me, which they should not be and Dr. Diogo is prescribing me anxiety medication instead of looking further into the medical issues I'm having & finding a reason. After the last office visit I looked through all my test results turns out on my CT scans I have persistent diffuse hepatic steatosis, which makes sense with the symptoms I'm having. I put in a referral to switch to another doctor & I most likely will not be using southcoast hospital anymore. It feels like Dr. Diogo & southcoast doctors feel I'm making these health conditions up in my head. I hope this is reversible."

"He's incredible. He takes great care to listen to your concerns. I reported some symptoms to him - symptoms that had been dismissed as anxiety by other doctors - but through his investigation, he was able to discover a congenital heart defect that had caused me to have a mild stroke. I'm 42, and a stroke at my age is rare, but because he didn't brush me off and instead listened to me and took action, he discovered this issue and hooked me up with a structural cardiologist that would fix my heart. Had he not discovered this, it was only a matter of time before I was going to have a major stroke. I owe him my life."
