"My brother was a patient for 3 weeks before he passed. The Nurses, PAs, Doctor, CNAs, RT PT and ST and even the cleaning staff were kind and caring. My only issue was that there was not a chaplain available. My family is very grateful for the care My brother Mark received. Thank you"
"Please do not send your family here OR apply for a job here. The CNO, Traci OConnor, asks employees to leave 5 star reviews because the working conditions are so terrible. There are so many people of color working as CNAs and RNs, yet no people of color in leadership, case management, etc. There is an air of racism in this establishment that goes unchecked. The horror stories I’ve seen and heard. Also, on the NBU unit, they restrain a patient to give him a weekly Haldol shot. This is NOT a DMH facility, meaning restraints are prohibited. A hold, especially a hold lasting longer than 3 seconds, is considered a restraint. 1-2 BTs, a “behavioral therapist,” and sometimes other staff have to restrain this patient to give him this shot. This was brought to the CNOs attention and she did nothing about it, as she doesn’t visit the Neurobehavioral unit as she finds it beneath her. Nurses are forced to work 24 hour shifts at time because relief just DOES NOT come in. The extremely overweight, upside down triangle shaped woman who works in HR (I believe her name is Madison) is sneaky and underhanded. This hospital will shut down for sure. The turnover is SO high, they overwork their staff with NO appreciation, their respiratory therapy and wound management teams are a joke (like it’s literally laughable). There are never any supplies, nurses are left to make calls ONLY doctors should be able to make, and Karin Jones only shows her face to complain and accuse, never to show gratitude. They will give someone 6 job titles just to avoid paying 6 different people. It is actually one of the most pathetic healthcare facilities I have ever had the displeasure of stepping foot in. I hope for the safety of patients AND staff, this place closes down soon. Deplorable."
"If I could give less than one star I would!!! My uncle is currently fighting for his life back at Beth Israel, he contracted a uti that has gone septic. If that’s not neglect I don’t know is!!! I’m disgusted by the care my uncle got while he was there. Like I said if I could give less than one star I would!! They should be ashamed of themselves!!!"
"I got great care and was treated Excellent. I couldn't walk or talk when I arrived. Today I can do both thanks to the great team at PAM."
"Was nervous to visit family here after reading the reviews..we were pleasantly surprised at the the appearance, the smell(there wasn't one) & the amazing care he received during our visit. I was most impressed by respiratory therapy, Steven was his name & his knowledge, he answered many of our questions.."
