Reviews
"Set up an appt for a friend who really do much in terms of medical care and was a bit pessimistic in terms of the medical field from previous bad experiences. He met with Dr. Douglas-Steele... He was responsive, attentive and made my friend feel very comfortable. Highly recommend."
"I would give 0 stars if it let me. Visited compass medical back in mid June with severe lower back pain and a numb foot. Was referred to a specialist for the month after and had an mri ordered. Mri was denied . Called primary care only to find out that my doctor was “semi retired “ and was only in a couple days a week. Fantastic ….while still in severe pain I had to wait until next week to finally get an mri approval through a peer to peer call with insurance and doctor . Mri revealed a large herniated disc that may require surgery. This is where it gets really frustrating and why I’m typing this review …..had FMLA paperwork for my medical provider to fill out beginning of july so I could be covered once I felt like I was able to go back to work and to also cover me for the days I had already called out sick due to my back pain. It is now mid august and I am still dealing with getting fmla approved due to paper work errors that need to be corrected by my medical provider according to my HR rep. What’s more frustrating is that due to a semi retired medical provider who apparently does not understand how to fill out medical leave paperwork, I am now in danger of further injuring myself because I now have to report for duty to my job until the medical Leave paperwork is submitted correctly and in a timely manner . Word to the wise . Make sure your primary care provider is not “semi retired” and understands how FMLA leave works , especially the forms that come with it . It greatly concerns me that a doctor can be responsible for the health and well-being of patients but can’t correctly fill out standard paperwork ."
