"I have two problems with Konduri. 1. She discriminates against fat people. And, 2. She used her power over my prescription for birth control to hold me hostage until I saw her for a yearly visit, which she herself said I didn't need. I am in near perfect health other than being fat. Blood work on my first visit reflected that. I was told to lose weight and come back in 6 months. No problem. 6 months later, despite my previous blood work, and having lost 5 lbs, she was insisting I was prediabetic, and wanted more costly blood work. To which I conceded because she made me feel terrible about myself. I told her I'd do it immediately because I was 22 hours fasted already. Knowing that, she still tried to coerce me into getting a prescription for Metformin! Not ok. (That blood work came back stupendous as well, and I was prescribed diet and exercise.) I specifically asked if I did not need to return for two years due to the pap no longer being necessary every year. Her response was, "Well, if you gain 50 lbs in a year, you should come back." How insulting and rude. I reiterated, and she said, YES, that I could come back two years later. One year later, she refused to refill my birth control without a visit to her. I had to go down to the facility to straighten that out. Two years and one month later, because I didn't make my appointment two years TO THE DAY (it was a busy holiday season) she rescinded my birth control prescription. Now I have to find another doctor, and get another prescription, within the next six days for continued efficacy. She's incredibly unprofessional at best. But at worst, I also think it immoral to try to convince someone they need medication that they clearly don't need. Such a shame."
