"If I could give negative stars I would. To start off I was hung up on, not once but TWICE! Simply for calling and asking general questions. I was met with aggression by an unknown clerk employee. As if, me asking questions was interrupting her day. Why is she answering phones if she has no desire to help the public? I wasn't being rude or raising my voice. Do better or get another job!"
"Judges don't even view the evidence. Money owed they throw you out. Even if ur landlord is a liar."
"It was a horrible day I waited there for six and a half hours just for them to tell me my landlord illegally served me. I never spoke to a housing specialist to try and figure a way out of my situation due to covid I was seriously affected by covid. They told me I was to wait there and I would talk to a housing specialist then they would see what was going on. I waited and then one of the clerks came out with a piece of paper giving me an extra month not saying anything about what I was asking just here's your paper have a nice day. We need to look at what happens in the housing court why it's so slow and if it's understaffed and underpaid then why not use the all the government money we just got do how about the housing situation that we have in this city"
"We have a home for rented as our only income and asset. We don’t understand the landlords’ rights. As a result, tenants took advantage of our naivety and the Covid-19. Tenants didn’t pay full rent for almost 9 months. We couldn’t hire a lawyer because we don’t have money. We thought a mediator, as mentioned will be unbiased, would help but I am very disappointed about the mediator, Susette Fagan-Clarke. She was very biased towards tenants and against the landlords. Instead of helping to understand our rights and help us and listen to both parties, she was trying to find every way possibly to find fault from us and give leniency to the tenants. The situation was judged so unfairly, just because we are landlords. That doesn’t mean we have money or our rights are not served. We felt discriminated. I am not sure anyone who can hear this but I hope if maybe it will help one person working there can hear the other side without a court case, please for other cases, please please do not let your own biases influence judgments. It is a huge disappointment when we look up and hope to mediator in place of a judge. We expect some fair logic even if they are not trained to use logic and reasoning like judges. But maybe that’s why no fair system can replace a judge."
