"Best experience I've seen in health care"
"This review is specifically for the charge nurse known as Nurse "G" - My husband is a USMC veteran currently in the mental health clinic at Bedford VA. Nurse G is someone I unfortunately hear very negative remarks about. This nurse has told my husband to "Get lost" when he asked politely for a simple request. My husband is a very polite and respectful man, Nurse G however is a very disrespectful individual that shows no empathy, care or common courtesy to someone who has served our Country. Nurse G will go on to say he is very busy each time someone asks anything of him even if it's a simple question/ request. I understand nurses are busy but instead of being rude and replying in such a foul way he could simply have more respect to reply in a more professional and kind way. He seems to be bothered by the veterans at this facility and burdened to do his job. Someone with this kind of demeanor and attitude should not be working in a place with people who may be struggling and need some care and compassion which is something he quite frankly lacks. I was utterly disgusted when I heard A NURSE would tell a patient to "get lost" LET ALONE SOMEONE WHO SERVED OUR COUNTRY FOR YOUR FREEDOM! Nurse G needs to be held accountable for the way he speaks to and treats veterans."

"Trying to call and get a certain department on the phone is a joke, be prepared to be transfered to wrong depts, disconnected, and if your lucky maybe thrown in the national call center, when trying to get someone in the Bedford VA. Also they have changed the parking lot a little, the lot closest to the front door has been changed to Patient Parking which i thought was great seeing before you would walk a few blocks then bus to front door, i dont usually do morning appointments but today i did and i watched that patient parking fillup with employees, when i asked one, she replied “mind your business” - hmm all for the vets huh? Now if i parked illegally in lot, the VA police would be all over me, i had one find me in the hospital at an appt and made me go to lot to move it, great guy seeing i had a walking cast on. And do these employees Really care about the vets? I complained to my primary care that she missed our last 2 appts (called out sick both times) when i asked her about it she laughed and said “yup its always my fault, im never here” - just reeks of professionalism"
"They cancelled 4 appointments after most recent deployment. Lost my records. Showed up for 1 procedure and tried to give me another. Had completely wrong patient info for me (wrong diagnosis & wrong location). Couldn't make emergency VA appt. then wouldn't cover out of network. One star for administration, but many health professionals here are excellent."
