"Do not trust the hours posted on Google if you are trying to speak with them in person! See photo for hours as of July 2024. I also echo the statements of the many people who have been unjustly charged various fees. We’re a military family — their system never sends notices to the correct address when there is an issue, and we get still get charged unnecessary and exorbitant late fees even though we have tried to do everything in our power to have them update our records in their system. This organization is broken, if not corrupt."

"Disgusting behavior from the call center, more specifically employee number 17182. They sent me an email saying I could dispute late charges and to call. So I did, and they told me they couldn’t let me dispute the almost $80 in late fees on a $6 toll which I informed them I never received in the mail. She was extremely condescending and almost mocking on the phone that she held the power to not let me dispute. She said she didn’t care I was a veteran or was homeless when they sent the original bill. Straight up extortion, and not surprisingly disgusting behavior from RI."

"Extortion, plain and simple. Wish someone would represent us on this matter. I am a Rhode Island resident. If I didn't have an ezpass it would cost me $6 each crossing of the Newport Bridge. So I'm penalized for not being a customer, how is this legal? Set up my auto pay for $50, without my authorization it was increased to $125 replenishment. I canceled auto pay to keep control of my bank account. Busy work week and didn't notice my negative balance, paid immediately when I noticed a span of 5 days. In those 5 days I have 12 tolls in which they are charging me the full $6, $72!! I called in which I was told tough luck. $72 is almost a weeks worth groceries you thieves. I had a -$7 balance, not tens or hundreds of dollars -$7 dollars. This is predatory without an appeal process and excessive fines of $40 per toll if I don't pay, that would be $552 for those 12 tolls. Are you kidding me?!!! How is any of this legal? State representatives, Attorneys anyone listening? anyone care?"

"Probably wasting my time even writing this review but received $30 of toll charges in the mail when i have a transponder mounted on my vehicle and also have money loaded on my account. Any decent customer service rep would just waive the charges and charge me the amount that it would have cost to cross the bridge twice. Need to drive all the way down to the center to have transponder “tested.” Absolute joke of a system and a state. Additionally, trying to talk to their customer service line is like talking to a person with an IQ of a two year old. No clear statements, no clear reasoning and bouncing from one excuse to the other as to why charges are “valid.”"

"Absolutely can't recommend to use this bridge! We were tourists with our rental car and spoke to their supervisor if it would be possible to cross and pay without an epass. Several people recommend to cross the bridge and call up a couple of days later to make the payment with the credit card via phone. But as we tried to do this the person on the hotline did not know anything about it and said this way is not possible. Now we end up with a bill to the rental company and also have to pay their administration fees. The person on the hotline just hung up. A promised call back from the supervisor also never happened. No customer support at all!!!"
