"Beautiful church, wonderful mass! You can receive the body and the blood."
"Tried to attend July 30, Old Fashioned Sunday. We were so looking forward to mass. Website listed 11:30 AM. We arrived early with vacationing family, including infant grandson all the way from St Louis, only to find mass had started at 11. Sadly disappointed. Can someone please oversee updates and schedule changes. Please?!"
"I have been going to the Immaculate Conception Church in Newburyport, MA for many, many years. Two of my three children were Baptized there. I always enjoyed the Mass and the Priest’s who performed them. I especially admired Reverend Paul Connors. His Homily’s were always easy to understand and well said. My oldest son attended the Immaculate Conception School from Kindergarten to the Eighth grade and received an excellent education. I recommended the Immaculate Conception to those who enjoy attending Mass."
"We were visiting and attended the Christmas Eve service with friends. The church is beautiful with vaulted ceilinged beams and stained glass. There is ample seating but it was mobbed and those of us who arrived early (some with families and infants) had to stand in the back hall. We didn't mind, and could hear the service clearly over the PA. We especially enjoyed the sermon, all the caroling, and the choir sounded brilliant! We were a little confused by the song leader who could not speak English and no one could understand a word she said. For such a popular church and in a town like Newburyport they need to find a better singer. Also, there is only one bathroom and the line for it was out the door! Word of advice: Go before you go!!!"
"My parents were baptized and married in this church and I wanted to see this beautiful church again. We attended services and was pleasantly surprised of the recent updates in the art decor and new lighting. Its been over 50 years since my last visit and look forward to coming again for services."
