Hertz Car Rental - Lovell Field Airport 1101 Airport Road, Chattanooga, TN 37421

"Today 07/17 I couldn’t pickup my car because the night shift person did not prepare my documents/car the system would not print after midnight. I specified the airline and flight number on my arrival but the person was not proactive at preparing the document prior my arrival. Now I gotta Uber to the hotel and come back tomorrow to get the car. What a service at this location!!"

"Terrible experience! I booked my reservation using Hertz reward points and they charged me full price. I reserved a full size car and they tried giving me a compact. One of the initial questions they asked me is where I was driving and I told them Kansas City. After they ran my card and I signed the rental agreement, they told me I can’t drive the car west of the Mississippi. Umm, Kansas City is west of the Mississippi! So I was forced to have them cancel the reservation. I checked my credit card statement and they didn’t give me a full refund. Avoid renting from this place!!"

"This is the worst Hertz location I've been to. They said they are a franchise and not corporate which is why things are so different. They apparently dont have access to anything on the hertz side to see status, insurance, etc... the lady was condisending when responding to my concerns. The card was dirty, mud and dirt streaks inside. They make you sign a paper saying there's no damage on the car prior to you even seeing the car, but they wont walk out there with you to check it, or let you go inspect it 1st prior to signing. just a ridiculious experience..."

"Tom was so extremely helpful to myself & my boyfriend when we ran into an issue with our rental not starting properly; we were at a camping music festival in Tennessee but had driven about 10 hours to get there. Tom was so communicative with us, and assured us that he would drive out a replacement vehicle so we weren’t stranded without access to a car! He drove an hour & a half to us and really ended up being the savior of our trip. THANK YOU TOM!!!!!!!"

"From looking at the previous reviews, this location keeps missing the mark with good customer service. I was not impressed at all with the level that I received as well. The agent that helped me was not friendly at all. She seems that she's more focused on impressing upper management and forget the customers. The check in, I'll give her a 2. Check out 1. She could care less if I received good service. Last, I left my handsfree mount in the vichicle. I was gone less than an hour. I called also came back to get it. It was gone that fast. Did they throw it away or what happened just that fast??? They never showed concern for it either. It meant nothing to them, and they showed it. Hopefully, I never have to rent from them again"
