"I was Camp DeSoto's FedEx Express courier for 12 years. Today I listened to part of a radio call in program about Christian camps. I thought back to the camps in Mentone and decided to write this review. I delivered to Camp DeSoto almost every day of camping season for 12 years. I was always very impressed by the Hurt family and their staff members. They are terrific people who put lots of effort into their work. They take pride and satisfaction in working together to do an important job well. The campers always seemed to be having a great time as good friends or reading a letter or book outdoors. The ones who held the door for me were very polite, respectful, and enjoyed being helpful. I got the impression that while having a lot of fun being kids they were being well prepared for their present and for their future lives This is a Christian camp in all the best senses of that term. If I had a daughter, I would send her to Camp DeSoto. It would be money well spent."
