Reviews
"The Lynn Interim station is temporarily used until the rebuilt Lynn station is complete."
"The Lynn Interim Station features two short, high-level platforms, one in each direction of travel. It is therefore important to be mindful of which car you are travelling in. These two platforms are not connected and travel between these two platforms is necessitated by a short walk on Silsbee Street under the railroad bridge. Therefore it is very important to follow the signs to the desired platform. The Interim Station is located a fair distance from the site of the Central Square station site as well as the Busway, but signage is provided to point the way. Buses 441 and 442 stop at Silsbee Street (IB) and Nahant Street (OB), a short walk to the Interim Station. Buses 436, 455 and 456 stop at Buffum Street (IB) and Silsbee Street (OB). All these buses service the Busway and, with the exception of the 436 and 456, service Wonderland for Blue Line and further bus connections. There are few amenities at this station. Several benches are provided, as is a waste basket. Canopies provide shelter from rain/snow and the sun. There are emergency call points on both platforms, as well as wheelchair accessible ramps. Not anything particularly amazing, but as far as a temporary station, it gets the job done. My only complaint is the lack of heaters for the platform, but it isn’t a pressing issue."
