Welcome to Massport Fire Rescue Headquarters

Located at 162 Harborside Drive in Boston, Massachusetts, Massport Fire Rescue Headquarters is dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our community, passengers, and partners. As a pivotal part of the local safety network, we work in close collaboration with the Massport Police Department and Massachusetts State Police Troop F, alongside Massport’s Office of Corporate Security and Emergency Preparedness.

Our comprehensive range of services includes aircraft rescue and firefighting, structural fire protection, hazardous materials response, emergency medical services, and offshore emergency response with our Marine Division, featuring the 79-foot American United fireboat. We also focus on fire prevention and inspections to safeguard our community.

Committed to preparedness, we maintain lifesaving automated external defibrillators, conduct regular drills, and offer CPR and first aid training to airport employees. Our outreach programs aim to educate schoolchildren in neighboring communities about fire safety.

Massport Fire Rescue is proud to host fire departments from across the United States and Canada at our state-of-the-art training facility at Boston Logan International Airport. As a member of the Massachusetts Metro Fire District, we actively participate in the mutual aid response system for our neighboring communities. Additionally, we provide aircraft rescue and firefighting services at Worcester Regional Airport and Hanscom Field.

For law enforcement and specialized security services, Troop F and the Massport Police Department ensure compliance with federal security regulations across all Massport properties, including Boston Logan International Airport, Hanscom Field, Worcester Regional Airport, and the South Boston waterfront. Our dedicated teams, including a specialized detective unit, bomb squad, and award-winning K-9 teams, are equipped to address any security needs.
