"Poor service call.. pretty much an abortion. I’d try another insurance brand. Sick of being on hold and sick of waiting."
"I have been an AAA member for many years; previously I had a AAA Northern New England membership as that is where I lived previously, but after I moved to Alabama recently I switched to AAA Alabama. Shortly thereafter, I had my first ever unpleasant AAA experience. My car overheated unexpectedly on a Saturday afternoon. In Alabama, it turns out that few, if any, car repair shops in that particular area were open at that time - and I was more than 50 miles from my house. Unfortunately, AAA representatives seemed to be unable to find my account when I called. After hanging up and calling AAA back multiple times to get some assistance, one phone representative told me to try to renew my account. I had to hang up before I was able to do that online with my phone. When I called back after doing the renewal, the next representative said he “couldn’t find my account” and then said he was going to put me through to a different person who was supposed to “find my account”. I got that person’s voicemail (they apparently don’t work Saturdays); I left a VM and was never called back. Meanwhile, I’m on the side of the road in a broken down car in 95 degree temps with my wife and two dogs, the latter of which really started struggling in the heat. My wife got sick of waiting for AAA to get their act together and started calling towing companies; we finally had to pay over $300 for a non AAA affiliated towing company to tow my car back to my house. Each time I called AAA that day, I had to wait at least 30 minutes on hold to be able to talk to anyone. Not sure why I should pay hundreds for AAA annually if the service is going to be absolutely useless when you need it."
"After traveling 4 hour to my Grandmother's house, unloaded the truck the last trip to my surprise I had a flat, could see the metal piece in the tread that I'd picked up on the trip. Called AAA they dispatched a tech, was here in 40 minutes. He got here put a block under front tire set emergency brake then asked about tire tool to lower the spare tire. My truck is a 2018 and I had never had to use any of that. We looked under the back seat, so he called the dispatch and told him I didn't have a tire tool and he said there was nothing he could. Was just left there. The tire tool were and still is under the back seat storage place, there is about 8 bolts to take out and comes off and roll the carpet back and the whole kit is there. I think he just didn't want to go to the trouble to get to the too it. I thank God this didn't happen on the side of the road. My AAA dues will be paid to AARP to obtain their services and no longer depend on AAA"
"So affordable, with so many great perks! I will never be without my AAA. The membership paid for itself the first time I needed a tow. And the discounted car rental, theme park tickets ect..are fantastic."
"Our first time flight to Vegas was amazing. Thanks Patricia for getting us a great deal."
