"Terrible service the courthouse order for me to be on my son's birth certificate in the year 2020 and I'm still not unable to gain rights to my child because I'm still not put on his birth certificate I'm unable to even get a person on the phone courthouse sent out more letters still I'm not on his birth certificate"
"Plenty of parking on site. Easy process in and out - all three folks I saw working that day were reasonable and friendly (even if redirecting people). Came for a more difficult request and left with it complete."
"Went to get birth certificate. Just needed drivers license to confirm identity. Short form needed to be filled out and they gave me the certificate on the spot. Couldn’t have been easier. Definitely the best way to replace birth certificate on short notice."
"Place is easy to find and good parking. The young gentleman who handled my request was efficient courteous and pleasant! I was in and out within 5mins (week day non rush hour.) Huge shout out to April who answered the phone before I went in this morning. April IS Leslie Knoop from Parks and Recs. April is professional, knowledgeable, helpful, funny, patient, and even tried to give me driving directions to make sure I know how to get there. She told me once I get to the building, go through the revolving doors, left side is the lottery so don’t go there, but go to the right to find the Vital Records office. Great experience at the Vital Records office which is totally unexpected but appreciated. :)"
"Awful people!!! If they don't want to do their job, they shouldn't be working there!! I called the end of September/beginning of October, I'm trying to get my dual citizenship for Portugal and I summited my paperwork a year ago to Portugal and they found an error on my birth certificate! On the part where my mother signed, field 15, the person who recorded it typed in the wrong date. My birth was 9/27/70 so where my mother signed they typed 9/17/1970, obvious it's 10 days before my birth and a simple mistake. So I need it corrected and I called the Registry of Vitals and Statistics and a gentleman said that's an easy fix! He said to call him back at the end of the week and he'll let me know if my home town clerk's office would have my new one ready. Well I called and no answer and I left a message. Then the following week I called and left another message. So for 5 1/2 weeks I was calling him back and leaving a message at least 1 to 2 times a week to find out the status! Finally I called and asked if there was another person in that department I could speak too and they put me through his boss. She was very nice at first, I told her that he ask me to call the end of the week, 5 1/2 weeks ago So she said she would ask him the status. She called me back 5 minutes later and when I answered she yelled at me Not to Call There Anymore!!!! I'm Not ALLOWED To Speak to the Person that I helped me, Not ALLOWED TO CALL HER ANYMORE AND NOT TO CALL THE CLERK AT MY HOMETOWN!!! I'm at a stand still and don't know what to do!!!! They're suppose to help people, they don't want to don their job!!!!!! Very rude, but I do have their names and I like to report them!!!!!! Might have to contact the Attorny General !!!!!"
