As a proud part of the city’s extensive park system, Veterans Park offers a welcoming oasis for relaxation, recreation, and community gatherings within the bustling cityscape.

Managed by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, we are committed to creating and maintaining clean, green, and accessible open spaces for everyone to enjoy. Our department oversees a vast network of 2,300 acres of parkland, including 217 city parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, and much more, ensuring there’s always a spot to unwind or engage in outdoor fun.

At Veterans Park, you can look forward to a variety of seasonal events and activities. This summer, immerse yourself in our community offerings, such as free family movie nights under the stars and the lively Tito Puente Latin Music Series, which brings vibrant sounds to our parks in July and August. For those seeking a unique experience, don’t miss Alianza, a traveling beer garden created in partnership with Roundhead Brewing Company and Fresh Food Generation.

While our parks are open and thriving, we continue to adapt to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic by holding Tree Removal and Parks and Recreation Commission hearings online. We remain dedicated to the health and safety of our visitors and the sustainability of our green spaces.
