"Has a couple of aquarium animals but not many. Does have two touch tanks with lots of education to learn about the life of the aquarium.Has a small kinetic sand play area and a small highly priced gift shop. For the price your paying to get in for about a half hour worth of entertainment. In the future I would donate a small amount to the Save The Bay program but would not visit again as not much for an 11 year old to do. Also the parking garage in back of the building fills up pretty quickly as it also provides parking for the bus and trolley station right behind the aquarium we had to drive around 4 times before we found a spot to park."
"Great medium sized aquarium - several touch tanks with different species from different Rhode Island Habitats. The staff are excellent and are willing to spend time explaining and noting the best experience for children, adults, and the aquarium residents. Certain areas can get crowded, but there is more than enough space to maneuver."
"I had a blast at the save the bay aquarium, Mac, one of the instructors was amazing! So many fun facts, and very kind in letting me know where to stand to interact with the animals. A special mention also to everyone else at the desk who were able to help us get the right plan/membership for us."
"A really nice aquarium with lots of touch tanks! The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back. A great activity for any age but definitely a must for young kids"
"We loved this small but exceptional aquarium experience! It was probably the most hands-on learning experience my kids have had at an aquarium. There were so many touch tanks, with staff stationed throughout the aquarium answering questions and sharing info about each tank/display. We had a great time and highly recommend paying them a visit!"
