Dudley Town Common

Welcome to Dudley Town Common, your local oasis in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts! Located at 383 Dudley Street, our park is part of the extensive network maintained by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, which is dedicated to creating and preserving clean, green, safe, and accessible open spaces throughout the city.

Our department oversees an impressive array of 217 city parks, playgrounds, and athletic fields, along with two golf courses, 65 squares, 17 fountains, 75 game courts, and an expansive collection of historic and active cemeteries. We also care for approximately 125,000 trees across Boston's 2,346 acres of parkland, including the iconic Emerald Necklace.

Dudley Town Common offers a peaceful retreat for residents and visitors alike, providing a perfect spot for relaxation, recreation, and community gatherings. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our Tree Removal and Parks and Recreation Commission hearings are currently being held online.

This summer, enjoy a variety of free events and activities organized by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, suitable for all ages. Don't miss the return of the six-concert Tito Puente Latin Music Series in July and August, or the unique Alianza traveling beer garden, a collaboration between Roundhead Brewing Company and Fresh Food Generation.
