"If i could give minus 5 stars, I wholeheartedly would. The two hearses that they use to pick up decedents speed and tailgate people non stop on I-93. It seems like they don't have enough bodies to work on. They seem to want to cause accidents so they can have more.... Whoever drives the black Odyssey and the white Ford E-series van should have their license revoked. Very disappointed..."

"My mother fell down her steps unfortunately,she broke her kneck and it took her life. I requested a full autopsy. They have not sent or contacted me at all. The funeral home told me to go and identify my mom,but because of the covid-19 I couldn't even do that. So now we are waiting for her remains I live in another state 15 hours away also the death certificate states (pending) are they serious I can't do anything at all without the proper paper work and nothing can be paid. So in hindsight we have not been able to say our good byes to my beautiful momma. I just don't understand and of course if it where soomeone in their family it would be taken care of very disgusted"

"The medical examiner's office is a joke. Took the ruling from my father's untimely death ruled a massive heart attack by south shore hospital and changed the ruling to "pending investigation" so my widow mother now has to wait while they take their sweet time and cant get his life insurance because of it. Have friends and family contacting senators non stop to get this clown to do his job."

"The chief medical examiner is finally leaving this July. The article mentioned that the medical examiner's office has been involved in much controversy over the past ten years. My young son passed away suddenly, and we are trying to get a death certificate so we can have a private autopsy. They are rude, crude, and actually go as far as being insulting and hanging up. They should be reminded that no matter how busy it may get at times, that they are dealing with Spiritual Beings, who are loved, missed, with parents and siblings in shock. Any Vet we had ever took our pets to were incredibly more polite, and compassionate. Our son was the most kind hearted and giving person I knew. While in College and working, he still made time to volunteer with the elderly. Not ounce of dignity from these STATE workers, accept one technician or assistant who actually was cordial over the phone, but cannot give any information accept when to "pick up the body"."
