"This is a wonderful museum in Back Bay that I think anyone with an interest in military history would enjoy! Tours are free but do have to be pre-booked online on the website. The building itself is lovely and has been the museum's home since the 1960's and still has original architectural features and decor from when it was first built as a family home. The First Corps of Cadets has a really interesting history dating back to the 18th century and the museum has exhibits and objects dating from their early days to the present. The highlight really is the weaponry- their collection is one of the best in the country and really shows the development in American firearms. There are also displays on uniforms and specific moments in their history including the first parking ticket issued! I really would recommend this so highly. My guide was fantastic- so knowledgeable and passionate about the history and collection. She was also very adaptable depending on specific interests too!"
"Amazing collection of First Corps Cadets uniforms and all in the original building dating over 100 years old. This is truly a historical landmark of Boston and a must see if you are in the area!"
