Symphony Community Park
About the Business
Welcome to Symphony Community Park, a vibrant and essential part of Boston's expansive green landscape. Located at 39 Edgerly Road, Boston, Massachusetts, Symphony Community Park is part of the city's commitment to maintaining clean, green, safe, and accessible open spaces across more than 2,300 acres of parkland. Our park is one of the 217 city parks, playgrounds, and athletic fields that contribute to Boston's rich outdoor offerings, including two golf courses, 65 squares, 17 fountains, and 75 game courts.
As a part of the historic Emerald Necklace, Symphony Community Park is proud to be involved in the city's efforts to preserve and enhance Boston's natural beauty. With approximately 125,000 trees and over 35,000 street trees under our care, our mission is to ensure that the city's greenery thrives for generations to come.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, our Tree Removal and Parks and Recreation Commission hearings are currently being held online, ensuring the safety and convenience of our community members. Symphony Community Park also hosts a variety of activities, including free family-favorite movie nights in neighborhood parks and the exciting Tito Puente Latin Music Series, which returns each July and August.
This summer, explore Boston's parks with a full schedule of free events and activities for all ages, brought to you by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department. Don't miss the unique Alianza traveling beer garden, a collaboration between Roundhead Brewing Company and Fresh Food Generation, offering a delightful experience in partnership with the City of Boston.
Whether you're seeking a peaceful retreat or an active day outdoors, Symphony Community Park invites you to enjoy the natural beauty and vibrant community spirit that Boston's parks have to offer.
