Our department oversees a diverse range of recreational facilities, including 217 city parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, and more, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.

In addition to its scenic beauty, Soldiers Monument Park is part of the historic Emerald Necklace, a 1,100-acre chain of nine parks linked by parkways and waterways, offering a unique blend of history and nature. Our park is also home to a variety of family-friendly events and activities, including free movie nights and the popular Tito Puente Latin Music Series held in July and August.
