The staff at COAH Forest Hills really care about everyone that comes through the door. I had the opportunity to serve as an intern here for 8 weeks and got to see all of this up close."

"I love City on a Hill, Forest Hills. There are so many reasons why I do. It is a church with a focus on Gospel, Community and Mission. When I found the church, I had just experienced a terrible loss and I needed God for strength, comfort and hope. I went in one Sunday in the Fall and what I needed the most was there. I heard through Pastor Steven’s voice, the Word of God through the Gospel. The scripture spoke of God’s love and faithfulness me, during a time of suffering. After the service, the members of the church who were in front of me did not just walk out and go their way. They turned around, introduced themselves and engaged with me in conversation. I met many more members of COAH that first day. There is community there. It was truly evident on my first day I attended a service. Now, I understand how incredible the community is there beyond Sundays, with many social events that they participate in, including Baby Showers, Bowling, Holiday parties, weekly small Community Groups and Church retreats. They also join together to support many organizations in the surrounding Boston neighborhoods, including partnering with English High School down the street. Their mission is to spread the word of God and the hope for salvation. That day that I found City on a Hill was the day my life changed. I love this church. Please come and see for yourself.
