Located at 10 Joslin Place, Boston, Massachusetts 02215, Joslin Park is part of a city-wide network dedicated to preserving over 2,300 acres of lush parkland. Our mission is to create and maintain clean, green, safe, and accessible open spaces for the enjoyment of all Boston residents and visitors.

As part of the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, we oversee 217 city parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, two golf courses, 65 squares, 17 fountains, and 75 game courts. Our commitment extends to maintaining approximately 125,000 trees and more than 35,000 street trees, ensuring that Boston remains a city of natural beauty and ecological health.

Join us this summer for a variety of free events and activities for all ages, including family-favorite movie nights in neighborhood parks and the exciting six-concert Tito Puente Latin Music Series in July and August. Additionally, explore the unique Alianza traveling beer garden, a collaboration between Roundhead Brewing Company and Fresh Food Generation, bringing a refreshing experience to Boston's parks.

For those interested in history, we manage three active cemeteries and 16 historic burying grounds, preserving Boston's rich heritage. Please note, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, our Tree Removal and Parks and Recreation Commission hearings are currently being held online.
