"Beautiful free nature walk and pond. Pond was brown but had Lilly pads. Path was well kept and wheel chairs will probably be fine. There is a gate to keep dogs out and such."
"A very interesting place. Near a field where people engage in sports but still a quiet little area full of plants and wildlife. Love the peaceful walk I get to enjoy here."
"A lovely oasis of the natural world; today I saw nesting geese, ducks, turtles of various sizes, and a very friendly and loud Oriole. The willows are yellow-green and there are red buds on many trees. The cherry tree at the entrance to the pond walk has begun to blossom pink, and there are daffodils in clusters everywhere. Every time I come back nature has progressed a little more, everything is changing even as the individual turtles and birds and squirrels begin to feel more like friends."
"A nice tranquil park that seems to take you out of the hustle and bustle of the city and into a land far away. The sound of chipmunks, rabbits, and squirrels playing nearby is relaxing and the greenery beautiful."
"This is "my happy place" I go to in my mind for sanctuary and for real. It's a little-known gem even to the locals, hidden off a couple main streets and behind some big apartment buildings . It offers peace, abundant greenery, birds, turtles and unexpected glimpses of nature in the city. It is beautiful year-round, in all seasons. Once you find it, you want to go back and it's easy to get to by foot or T, with parking too."
