"One of my favorite places to go on Shabbat in Boston. My friends introduced me and each time I visit I can’t stay away. The congregation is amazing and so is everything about this place!"
"This place makes you feel you are "part of the family"! Very welcoming and warm. The kiddush every week is a seat-down meal that everyone enjoys for hours. The Chazzan, Daniel Kamum, is incredibly nice and genuine. Rabbi Kimelmam (scholar in residence) gives very nice words of Torah and the young leadership keeps the congregation active. This is an Orthodox Synagogue but (in the Sephardic Style) people from all walks of life are welcomed. They have congregants from many different countries including Israel, France, Morocco, Spain, Venezuela, Argentina, Italy, Irak, Iran, Pakistan, Egypt, Cuba, Canada, Algeria and a few other European countries. It is growing with young congregants that respect and treasure the traditions. Kudos to Beth Abraham!"
"An amazing place, everyone is incredibly warm and hospitable. The hazzan Eloquently preseves the Sephardic traditions of prayer and has a lovely voice and the rabbi is very scholarly and wise. Open and welcoming to all Jews no matter the background. The food is wonderful during events and Kiddushes. I don't normally go to synagogue but when I do, I go to Beth Abraham."
"Beth Abraham is a wonderful Sephardic synagogue in Brookline. The community is rapidly growing and younger families are becoming regulars. On Shabbat, the shul is always filled and the congregants enjoy a kiddish together after services. Highly recommend to all!"
"If you are looking for a vibrant, active community of people committed to Jewish traditions who are also finding relevant ways to foster the participation of younger members, definitely come and experience a service at Beth Abraham. Very welcoming and also has highly engaged, young leadership."
