Reviews
"This tiny museum in the basement of a senior center will delight and intrigue visitors who share an interest of the history of Boston, and the Brighton-Allston section in particular. Like much of the Boston area, the Brighton-Allston area is rapidly changing, with older buildings being torn down and replaced with modern edifices, and the historical society has assembled a collection of photos and items that will interest almost anyone interested in the history of the area, and of how life was in previous decades. The staff volunteer was helpful and friendly and knew her stuff as she has lived in Brighton for years and worked at Saint Elizabeth's Hospital (very close to the museum) for decades. The museum is only open for four hours two afternoons a week so time your visit accordingly. If you are the area, perhaps shopping or eating in Brighton Center, stop by and take a stroll through time for a few minutes."
