Welcome to Brighton Common, a charming oasis located at 30 Chestnut Hill Avenue in the vibrant city of Boston, Massachusetts. As a beloved local park and tourist attraction, Brighton Common is part of Boston's extensive network of green spaces, managed by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department. Our mission is to create and maintain clean, green, safe, and accessible open spaces across more than 2,300 acres of parkland throughout the city.

At Brighton Common, visitors can enjoy lush landscapes, serene walking paths, and a welcoming environment perfect for relaxation and recreation. The park is a testament to our commitment to preserving Boston's natural beauty, contributing to the city's impressive collection of 217 parks, playgrounds, and athletic fields, as well as numerous other recreational facilities.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, our Tree Removal and Parks and Recreation Commission hearings are currently being held online, ensuring the safety and well-being of our community. Throughout the year, Brighton Common hosts a variety of events, including free family-friendly movie nights and the lively Tito Puente Latin Music Series, which returns to Boston parks each July and August.

This summer, don't miss the opportunity to explore the Boston Parks and Recreation Department's full schedule of free events and activities for all ages. Additionally, experience the unique Alianza traveling beer garden, created in partnership with Roundhead Brewing Company and Fresh Food Generation, bringing fun and refreshment to our parks.
