Nestled at 58 Chestnut Hill Avenue in the heart of Boston, Massachusetts, Jackson Square is part of a vast network of parks that spans over 2,300 acres across the city. Our mission is to provide clean, green, safe, and accessible open spaces for everyone to enjoy.

As part of the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, we are proud to manage 217 city parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, and much more. Our commitment extends to maintaining two golf courses, 65 squares, 17 fountains, 75 game courts, and preserving the city's rich history through 16 historic and three active cemeteries. We also care for urban wilds, four high school athletic fields, and approximately 125,000 trees, contributing to the city's lush canopy.

During the summer months, Jackson Square and other parks come alive with free family-friendly movies and the vibrant Tito Puente Latin Music Series, which brings six exhilarating concerts to Boston parks in July and August. Additionally, don't miss Alianza, a unique traveling beer garden brought to you by Roundhead Brewing Company and Fresh Food Generation, in partnership with the City of Boston.
