Welcome to Hobart Park, your local oasis located at 85 Hobart Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02135. As part of the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, we are dedicated to creating and maintaining clean, green, safe, and accessible open spaces for everyone to enjoy. Our department oversees more than 2,300 acres of parkland throughout Boston, including 217 city parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, and much more.

At Hobart Park, you can experience the beauty and tranquility of nature right in your neighborhood. Whether you're looking for a peaceful spot to relax, a playground for the kids, or a venue for community events, our park is the perfect destination. We are proud to be part of the historic Emerald Necklace, a 1,000-acre chain of nine parks linked by scenic parkways and waterways.

Join us for a variety of free events and activities throughout the year, including family-friendly movie nights and the vibrant Tito Puente Latin Music Series in July and August. This summer, don't miss the unique Alianza traveling beer garden, brought to you in partnership with Roundhead Brewing Company and Fresh Food Generation.

Hobart Park is committed to sustainability, with over 125,000 trees and 35,000 street trees under our care. While our Tree Removal and Parks and Recreation Commission hearings are currently held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we remain dedicated to preserving the natural beauty of our city.
