"Service was acceptable but slow. We needed to request bread and butter but it made no difference because the bread was cold and tasteless and the butter had no taste. I ordered the beef stroganof per the recommendation of the waitress but the kitchen claims they ran out. I guess they don't make it to order despite the high price. So I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was nothing exceptional and the fries were commercial. I also ordered corn chowder which had no taste of corn and tasted mostly of flour . My guest ordered a ceasar salad which contained brown lettuce leaves and what tasted like commercial dressing. He ordered a half sandwich of grilled chicken but was served a lot of mayonnaise with some chicken. He returned it and asked for the steak sandwich which was reheated and served well done. We didn't bother with desert after the disaster"
