"We had a roof replacement done on our house by Olympic Roofing in July 2023. We had an extremely negative experience working with them. The installation quality was poor. They damaged our house and personal property. The owner and project managers are unkind and disrespectful. Shingles are sloppily aligned and rippled. Drip edges weren’t installed correctly, some are bent. A skylight frame was bent, gutter covers were bent, mesh gutter screens were damaged. Garbage was strewn about our yard. We had a sentimental piece of driftwood in our yard away from the job site that was broken in half and thrown in the dumpster. We brought our concerns up with the project manager (PM). He didn’t care and just bullied us to make the last payment. He threatened to take legal action against us when we said we wanted the gutter company to quote the gutter repairs. We contacted the owner. He was very apologetic over the phone and assigned us a new PM. Their customer service rep told us we’d receive a gift card for our troubles (we never received it). The new PM inspected the roof and said he wouldn’t have let his crew leave with these quality issues. He expressed frustration over a pattern of being sent out as a fixer for the other PM’s jobs. He took photos and said he’d review with his team and let us know about a rework schedule. Months went by and we kept asking for updates. The PM kept saying he was waiting for the owner’s approval. Meanwhile, the gutter company quoted $800 for the gutter repair and drip edge alignment. We asked Olympic to cover the cost but received no response. We paid out of pocket. In November, Olympic began requesting our last payment and we refused because the rework wasn’t done. As we approached winter we eventually said we didn’t want them to come back and we’d just keep the last payment. The owner responded saying (1) our roof has “proven worthy of New England weather”, even though we hadn’t been through a single winter with it, (2) we’re just trying to get Olympic to pay for new gutters, and (3) threatened to put a lien on our property. Apparently between August and November he changed his mind and mood. We restated we weren’t paying until the agreed rework was performed. After that the PM said the owner approved the repairs and sent a small crew out. The PM wasn’t present for the completion nor inspection of the work. We don’t know what they did that day but everything looks the same except for the paint they scuffed off the front of our house. We decided to pay the balance and live with the mediocre roof job and not pursue compensation for damages instead of dealing with Olympic anymore. In January 2024, we found a leak coming from the chimney area. We contacted Olympic since they installed the flashing and we were under warranty. After missing our first appointment because the PM supposedly needed to keep inflating his tires, he showed up for the second one and took pictures of the chimney and flashing with his iPhone. He said (1) the chimney condition was of concern to him and a likely cause of the leak, (2) there’s one area of chimney flashing where water might pool and he showed us a picture of the area in question, and (3) he would send us those photos. Well, we requested the photos so we could forward them to a chimney restoration company and get a repair quote. He said his phone was broken (the phone he was speaking from) and he had a call into “cell phone company” to figure out why he couldn’t send us the photos... Hard to believe. We offered alternative ways he could get the photos to us but he didn’t respond. After a week of ghosting us his phone apparently started working and he sent the chimney photos. Absent from the photos was the one of the questionable flashing. We asked him for that specific photo and have been ghosted again. We’ve chosen to stop working with Olympic entirely and are having a more reputable local company come fix their shortcomings. We generously give them one star because we technically have a new roof that’s better than the 30-year old one they replaced."

"While roof was being replaced, an intense winter storm blew a secured tarp out of place which allowed rain to come into my unit. Olympic made it right by repairing and painting the space that was affected. They did a beautiful job with great customer service and follow through. Thank you!"

"We had a serious moss build up on our roof and it was difficult to find a roofing company to take care of it. Olympic Roofing took on the task and did an excellent job. They were punctual and the clean up was perfect. Matt was very professional and did a great job of communicating. He took the time to explain the process to us, and was quite patient and accommodating when we had scheduling changes. We are extremely pleased with the process and the outcome!"

"We recently completed two major projects with Olympic and couldn’t be happier. We started by calling them about painting our newly installed Hardee siding. They provided a competitive estimate and followed it up by asking how soon we wanted to start, not something we hear a lot of nowadays. Their crew came out on the day promised and got to work on preparation, caulking and taping the house. In a matter of just a few days, the house was done and looked better than ever. They were able to provide great advice on selected areas that shouldn’t be painted (PVC Trim and certain doors) and possible color combinations for doors and window trim. The crew was efficient, professional and did a great job protecting the landscaping. Every step of the way they checked in to make sure we were happy and to see if we had any questions or concerns. All of our neighbors stopped by with compliments on how good the house looked. The second project was an even bigger one; removing and rebuilding our back deck. We walked the property with George and Julia and went over a range of design ideas and details. They pointed out work that should be done, as well as what could be salvaged and re-used. Every step of the way they made suggestions and gave us ideas. As with the painting, the key question was when did we want to start. As with the painting, the crew showed up and got to work and did an excellent job. We were able to see the solid structure that went up and the attention to detail installing all the finishes. Throughout the project we were asked how we wanted different elements to be done. When they finally finished, we couldn’t be happier with the results. Not only would we recommend Olympic for just about any project, we would certainly choose them to do another one for us."

"I had to get my house ready to sell and called on them with a very fast turn around time schedule. I had a pretty long list ,the work was interior, exterior and every minor detail. I am not kidding, they did it all, what an amazing crew! I highly recommend them!! They are Absolutely incredible, they finished it all. Even after it was finished if there were small things that needed fixing they came right away and took care of it and it was done before my open house. I am so grateful for such a professional crew.
