"It's nice, but everything is "you get what you pay for". Plentiful parking, in a compacted leaf and mud lot. Windy trails, that are difficult to notice (and easy to miss connections). Little birdhouse roofs identify trails, though circular blazes aren't always accurate. Not a tough walk for the sure footed, but I wouldn't recommend the elderly or those with canes. Mountain bikers have a generally easy ride through. Near the forest edge is the "martini junction" where someone has built a toy train trestle. The trains don't move on their own and there are a lot of old children's toys as well as "fairy buildings". Someone has been *very* busy, but without a budget. Fun for kids 3+."
"Great place to hike. Keep an eye out for amphibians after rain"
"Nice park for hiking running walking. Quiet, clean. The trails are well maintained, even during fall season the leaves are not a big deal. Really like the uphill downhill patterns. Bring good boots though, plenty of rocks stones and whatnot."
"Magical walk to a hidden train in the woods for people with young children. Kids can look for the little fairy houses hidden along the way. Consider taking along an old but still usable toy to leave in the toy box when you find the little railroad, as some of the toys there are a little worse for wear."
"The entrances were not where the gps directed me to and rather difficult to find. It was a nice area to walk but we didn't find the train despite finding a lovely rock sending us in the correct direction."
